Watermelon Radish

I picked this up at citymarket (the pastaworks of NW PDX). I'll admit, in my TV dinner upbringing I never ate a watermelon radish, let alone a regular non-watermelon radish. BUT now that I'm in control of my destiny (sort of) I am able to work, get paid, and purchase my very own watermelon radish. I thinly sliced the radish and tasted its peppery flavor, then added to my salad with radicchio, spinach, garbanzo beans, and tahini soy dressing. yummers.
